Connecting Microsoft Teams to decube allows your teams to receive incident alerts directly to a channel on Teams. With each incident alert, a URL is added for users to be taken directly to the Incident Detail page in decube.
Incoming Webhooks are not supported for private Teams channels. Read more about it on Microsoft's page here (Private Channels).
To add Microsoft Teams into your default alert channel for your entire organization, you can follow the below steps:
On the desired channel in Teams, create a Connector by using the following guide from Microsoft: Creating Incoming Webhooks.
Once you've created the webhook URL for the channel, you can then go to Config Settings in the My Account page and add the Webhook URL as in the below image.
You can add more MS Teams webhooks for different channels by clicking on Add another URL
. This sends the same alerts to a separate Teams channel.
It is highly recommended that you create a separate channel for Decube alert notifications as multiple incoming webhooks from different tools into one channel may cause latency in delivering your alerts.
