Connect to Microsoft Teams

Send incident alerts to channels on Microsoft Teams.

Connecting Microsoft Teams to decube allows your teams to receive incident alerts directly to a channel on Teams. With each incident alert, a URL is added for users to be taken directly to the Incident Detail page in decube.

Add default channel in Config Settings

To add Microsoft Teams into your default alert channel for your entire organization, you can follow the below steps:

  1. On the desired channel in Teams, create a Connector by using the following guide from Microsoft: Creating Incoming Webhooks.

  2. Once you've created the webhook URL for the channel, you can then go to Config Settings in the My Account page and add the Webhook URL as in the below image.

Add your webhook in the MS Webhook URL field.
  1. You can add more MS Teams webhooks for different channels by clicking on Add another URL. This sends the same alerts to a separate Teams channel.

It is highly recommended that you create a separate channel for Decube alert notifications as multiple incoming webhooks from different tools into one channel may cause latency in delivering your alerts.
