# Deactivate or re-activate users

To deactivate or re-activate a user, you will need to be in the Owner group or have the policy `Manage access for organization (Edit)`.

Here's how you can deactivate or re-activate a user:

1. Navigate to the **My Account - User Management** page.
2. On any **Active** user, click on the ellipsis option. You will see the option for `Deactivate user`.
   * For **Inactive** users, you will see the option to `Re-activate user`.
