Monitor Management Options

Adding New Monitors from Catalog
Step 1: Navigate to Asset Details
Go to Catalog > Browse or Search for your asset
Select the table/asset you want to monitor
Click on the Monitor tab under Asset Details

Step 2: Create Monitor
Click the "Add Monitor" button
Select monitor type from the creation form
Configure settings based on asset characteristics

Step 3: Choose Monitor Type
Select the appropriate monitor based on your asset needs:
For Business-Critical Tables:
For Data Quality Validation:
Field Health: Column-level quality checks
Custom SQL: Business rule validation
Automatically Enabled:
Schema Drift: Already active for structural change detection
Modifying Existing Monitors
Quick Modification Process
Locate the monitor in the Monitor tab
Click the ellipsis menu (︙) next to the target monitor
Select "View Monitor" to access modification options

Available Actions
⚠️ Hint: Modifying the frequency or row creation settings of auto-thresholded monitors may trigger retraining. This will remove all historical values from the monitor.
✏️ Modify Settings:
Update thresholds and sensitivity
Change monitoring frequency
Adjust alert configurations
⏸️ Enable/Disable:
Temporarily pause monitoring without losing configuration
Useful during maintenance or data migration periods
🗑️ Delete Monitor:
Permanently remove monitor and historical data
Use with caution - action cannot be undone
