Asset Overview

This document outlines the information displayed in Catalog > Asset Details > Overview.

The Asset Details Overview section provides a consolidated view of key metadata, incidents, monitoring status, and other relevant information for different asset types. Each subtab offers insights specific to datasets, schemas, data jobs, data tasks, and sources. \

Overview for Data Set/Properties

• In this section, you can:

  • View the columns within your table.

  • Use filtering options to streamline results for easier navigation.

• On the right side of the page, the Asset Overview panel displays key details, including:

  • Total number of incidents

  • Column count

  • Monitor details & Other general information

Overview for Schema:

• In this section, you can:

  • View the tables within your schema.

  • Use filtering options for easier navigation.

• The Asset Overview panel on the right side provides key details such as:

  • Total number of tables

  • Tables with incidents

  • Incident percentage & Other general information

Overview for Data Job:

• This section provides details about data job monitoring. You can:

  • View the monitor name and its last run status (Success or Error).

  • See a history log of test runs, including timestamps and statuses.

Overview for Data Task:

• This section provides insights into individual data tasks. You can:

  • View the monitor name and its last run status (Success, Running, or Error).

  • Check the history log, which records each test run’s timestamp and status.

Overview for Source:

• In this section, you can:

  • View the schemas associated with your source.

• The Asset Overview panel on the right side provides key details such as:

  • Total number of incidents

  • Number of schemas

  • Schemas without owners & Other general information
