Publishing the Data Asset

This documentation will guide you through the process of publishing your data asset.

Before publishing your data asset, you need to choose the "Make Changes" option in the Data Asset Details.

In the "Submit for Approval" popup, users are required to describe the change.

If a user is a Domain Owner or has administrative rights, they will be able to to check "Mark as 'Approved immediately'," which prompts them to enter a Version Number.

After selecting "Confirm and request changes," the reviewer (Data Product Producers) will review the changes and either approve or reject them, followed by entering a version number as shown above.

Once approved, the data asset is successfully published with its version number as indicated above.

Users can modify the data asset details again by clicking the "Modify Draft" button, which converts the published version into a draft while maintaining the latest published copy.
