Adding a Data Contract - Default Settings

Once you've added a data asset, you can use its details to create data contracts. In the following guide, we will walk you through the process of adding and creating a data contract.

Begin off by selecting the "Make Changes" option.

When dealing with Data Contracts, make sure to choose the "Make Changes" option as depicted above.

We'll start by configuring the default settings for a data contract in the Data Contracts subtab under the data asset details.

Fill out and complete the required fields such as

• Timestamp column (If timestamp is selected)

• Validate SQL Expression (If SQL Expression is selected)

• Frequency

Upon completing the required fields, you may save your settings by selecting "Save and create data contract" confirmation button.
